GSM/GPRS communicator for SPC II and III power plants
The GSM/GPRS SPCN II and III module can be assigned to any mobile network via the insertion of a standard SIM card. The modem is compatible with all panels in the SPC range and connects directly to the main motherboard eliminating the need for additional cabling.
The unit comes with an external antenna that fits the enclosure. The modem communicates with a Central Alarm Receiver (CRA)/Central Control Post using standard contact ID (SIA) or IP over 2G/3G (FW3.8 or later) protocols to the SPC Com XT alarm receiver module. It also supports PPP connection SPC Pro software for loading and unloading configuration and programming remotely.
The SMS functionality allows the user/Technical to send predefined texts when selected events occur in the system or the sms reception of predefined commands for security system control. The GSM modem can be used as the main communication channel or as a backup channel for PSTN modem communication or IP communication.
